Cloud Computing & Security Architect

This course provides a holistic view of the cloud ecosystem, from its core architecture and virtualization to its emergent trends. The program begins by explaining the fundamentals of cloud computing, service models, deployment strategies, and the shared responsibility model . You will then explore the security landscape, learning to identify common cloud threats, attack methodologies, and misconfigurations. A significant portion of the course is dedicated to hands-on security, where you will learn to apply Zero Trust principles, use CASBs (Cloud Access Security Brokers), and secure modern technologies like containers and Kubernetes

3-Month Track (Intensive)

Month 1: Cloud Foundations – Core cloud concepts, service and deployment models, virtualization, and an introduction to major providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) .

Month 2: Security Threats & Tools – Common cloud threats, attack methodologies (enumeration, exploitation), using cloud security tools, and exploring the shared responsibility model .

Month 3: Advanced Architecture & Protection – Securing cloud-native applications, containers, and Kubernetes. Implementing Zero Trust principles and modern cloud security best practices .

6-Month Track (Comprehensive)

Months 1-2: Foundational Concepts – Deep dive into cloud architecture, virtualization, and compute/storage services. Compare and contrast the leading service providers .

Months 3-4: Security & IAM – Comprehensive coverage of IAM (Identity and Access Management), designing secure cloud infrastructure, and implementing network security controls .

Months 5-6: DevSecOps & Specialization – Integrating security into the DevOps pipeline, advanced threat protection, automation and scripting for cloud security, and a capstone project on building a secure, multi-tier cloud environment
